What is the best way to promote as an affiliate of a company? I believe that most people go about it the wrong way. Sure, people need to sign-up using YOUR AFFILIATE URL – that goes without saying. Sending them directly to that page, though, isn’t a good idea at all. You are giving away your ability to monetize at all. Either they sign-up into your organization – or they leave the page entirely. If the REFERRAL LINK is much more attractive (and effective) it is possible that your best choice would be to send them straight there…but if you know HTML or have a website builder, taking the time to make a good “splash” page is your best bet. Here’s why: YOU CAN PUT WHATEVER YOU CHOOSE TO PUT ON YOUR PAGE! This means A LOT! If you are like me, you probably have other things that you would like to advertise. If you can advertise everything at one time… WHY NOT? When I create a splash page I make them colorful, put at least 3 income opportunities on it so that they can choose one that they might like more than the others, and I put sponsored ads on the page so that I can make money for showing my page. Did you catch that last part? Sponsored Ads? YES. Open up a GOOGLE ADSENSE account (I use YAHOO) and MONETIZE YOUR TRAFFIC. When you have this going for you, you will find that it is easier to build your organization. Most people don’t want any part of your opportunity, and you can’t blame them. Everything isn’t for everybody. If you purchase traffic (like I do, sometimes) you may find that the ads pretty much cover the costs of promoting the page. You cannot ask for a better set-up! It is just a numbers game – and if you can make it cheaper to show your business opportunity to people – you will be able to afford to advertise your page even more! I use this system to build different organizations, and it works really, really well if you keep the traffic coming in. How many of you decided to start an online network marketing business only to find out that by just having a website on the internet didn't mean 1000's of hungry buyers were flooding you with traffic? In this article I will talk about what it will take to become a successful online network marketer. So many people jump onto the internet every day hoping to make money with a online network marketing company. There are so many different opportunities to chose from that it is almost overwhelming. Be sure to do the proper due diligence before settling on the perfect opportunity for you. After you find the perfect network marketing company that fits your criteria, it is time to start your internet marketing and advertising to drive targeted prospects and potential product buyers to your website. Domain Names-- Domains are like Real Estate, you will control the traffic to this domain for the rest of your life. Most online network marketing companies offer their distributors a replicated company website with an affiliate URL like: http://www.abcdef.com/12345 Do not make the same mistake that I made in the first year of my online network marketing business. What mistake is that you ask, it is advertising the replicated website address. The reason you do not want to market with this URL is that if the company somewhere down the road decides to change the website name then all of your marketing efforts and TRAFFIC Will go to a DEAD URL. You want to go and register a couple of easy domain names that you will own and control and be able to redirect all traffic flowing to these domains to any website of your choice for life. I personally use http://www.buydomains.com for my domain name registration. Some of my team members also use http://www.godaddy.com . The first domain name that you should register is http://www.yourname.com because everyone that you know, know's how to spell your name. Next you will want to think of one or two more domains that relate to your network marketing opportunity and your network marketing products. Here is one example that I use for marketing a new MLM Program: http://www.BigMLMLaunch.com After registering your domains you will want to login to the domain registration site and find the (frame forwarding or masking) option which will allow you to redirect or point your domain name to your company replicated ecommerce website or your opportunity marketing website. Marketing: Creating a steady flow of high quality website visitors After deciding on your domain names and getting them to redirect properly, it is time to begin marketing your network marketing business. As you begin to advertise your domain names for your opportunity you will want to use the "Fish where the Fish are" concept. What do I mean by that? I want you to use a target marketing approach to building you network marketing business. You want to attract other business minded people who are looking to start some kind of online business. The first thing that you want to do is to visit your favorite search engine and start to do searches for the different targeted keywords that people will search for to find information on starting an online business. You can look for forums or message boards or even the guest book of the website. Some of these places will allow blatant advertising while some of the FREE ways to market in the sites will be in the form of participation or by writing a little hello in the guest book, any way to leave a link to your domain name on one of these websites is key. The idea of "Fishing where the Fish are" and "Piggy Back" marketing will give you an endless source of prospects or product buyers that will visit your website because you put your advertisement and domain in front of them where they were looking for the type of information that you were offering. The key to successful internet marketing is consistency and persistence. You should be placing a new ad or link to your website on a daily basis. Review of Leisure Audiobooks

I recently became a member of Leisure Audiobooks,
and I want to share my humble opinion with you today.

This is like nothing I have ever experienced before,

More often than not it was something like you can't do that.

The bottom line is we have been programed with negative thinking
since early childhood.

The only way to change is re-program ourselves with positive
thinking. We can do that in different ways

One way is to write some positive affirmations and read them every day.

The follow up to my last post will be what to do after your list building
programs have several hundred E mail addresses . Do not start selling
products to them.

The first step is, you need a capture page. Your capture page has one main
function and that is to get your list of people to subscribe to your Auto-
Responder. Then use your auto responder to build a relationship with
your future customers.

Your auto responder will have to have a series of training letters to show
how to duplicate what you are doing. You will need several business
opportunities that will build you, and your people a residual income. I have
a number of different business opportunities that will each provide a residual
income.

Most all of the opportunities I use are also programs that are required to be
successful in a Internet Business.

To be successful you need a number of web sites that you can use for different purposes. Examples are capture pages, sales letter pages, re-direct pages and the list goes on.

Another necessary program/business is a tracking program. Once again here at the Lou Norman Company we use several different ways to track our Ads.

I am still only touching the tip of the ice berg.

How To Use List Building Programs.

If you want something out of life don't wait for it
to be handed to you on a silver platter.

To get something out of life you need to make it
happen yourself.

All positive thinkers know that they can do what
ever they want to do. So they make it happen.

I have made a previous post where I listed some of
the listbuilding programs that I use. I have made
the same mistake that most of us do.
We start to get a few sign ups on the list building
program, then start to send them information about
one of our affiliate programs.
If you pay any attention to any of the E Mails you
get from other members of the list you will find
they do the same thing.
Question is what should you be doing? Let's think
about how a list building program should be used.

Think about this. As a list starts to build do not
try to build that list by sending E Mails to that
list.
Send E Mails to the first list to get new members
on another list you are a member of. Sign up for
mulitple list building programs and promote them
to each other. So the only thing you are promoting
to the lists are the other lists.You will need to
write your E Mails to promote this idea.

What do you do after your lists have several hundred
members?

How To Start Building A List

If you are always around people that tell you. You can't do that.
You soon believe it is true.
Always associate with positive people.
Distance yourself from negative people.
Always believe that you can do it. No matter what other people say.

There are many ways to build a list, but how do you build a list of people that truly trust you and can believe that something you recommend is in their best interests and not yours?

It is not something that happens overnight.
There are many list building programs available and they all have the best of intentions.

If you advertise a list building program and a list starts to build.
What do you do with the list? Most people will start to try and sell one of the affiliate programs to which they belong.

What is wrong with that do you know?

The answer is that most of the people on the list have their own affiliate program that they want to expose you to.
So a cycle develops and they send you their affiliate program.

Then you start to delete the E Mails they send you and they delete yours.

So the question is what are these list programs good for.
Listen closely and I will tell you what to do. First when you have some people in a list program tell them about other list building programs that they can join FREE. If you actively do this you will have multiple lists of people that you can promote to your autoresponder which has a helpful training series. This is used to build a relationship with people that will trust you.

Why do you have to do the relationship building?

The answer is so that you can send people offers that will make money for you, and your training series will show the people that sign up for your autoresponder how they can make money by building relationships with people on their lists.

Step 1, is signing up for the free list building programs.

Step 2, is telling people on the first list building program to sign up for the other free list building programs.

Step 3, is to send people to your autoresponder.

Step 4, is how to get people to sign up for your training series

Step 5, is you need to have at the very lest two things, A way to get a capture page of your own that you can change easily as you test what is working for you. The next is an autoresponder that will automatically send out your training series.

More About Thinking

Hi All,

I was sitting the other day thinking about some of the things I have done.

When I was a boy growing up during the Battle of Briton, my parents
and I lived in a suburb of London, England. The Germans were in the
start up of bombing England.

They started at first coming in the daylight hours As the bombers
were lining up on there targets, the RAF fighters would be trying
to shoot them down and then the German escort fighters would
go after the RAF Fighter planes.

It would turn out to be a huge dogfight with the fighters
crisscrossing all over the sky.

My thoughts at the time were someday I was going to fly an
airplane. I never really stopped thinking about flying a plane.

But the next thing I turned 18 and volunteered to join the
US Army.

I was able to do that because I was a US Citizen living in
England. (I was born in Buffalo, NY but that's another story.)

My changed many times over the next 21 years but I was always
thinking that some day I was going to fly an airplane. The year was
1963 and I was going to be 39 years old. So I started to think very
seriously about flying a plane.

As I was growing up and thinking about fly I would go over in
my mind how I would move the controls to make a plane do
what I wanted it to do. I really and truly felt that if I walked
out to the plane and got in I would be able to take off without
any lessons. (Talk about positive thinking)

One of the people at the place I worked was a flight Instructor
so I signed up for flying lessons.

I just had to share this story to point out that we really can do
what ever we want to do when we think about it in a positive way.

Anyway to wind this up I got my private license in 1964 with only the
minimum required flight hours. My Instrument rating in 1965. My
flight instructor rating in 1968. My instrument flight instructor
rating in 1970.

I taught many other students how to fly over a 30 year period.

So my point of course is WE BECOME WHAT WE THINK ABOUT.

We all go though our days with good thoughts and bad.

Do you think that when you wake up in the morning that the day is going to suck??

If you wake up with that thought your day will suck...

But if you wake up thinking like that you can change the entire out come of that day by thinking I am not going to let that happen. Just change your thinking to happy thoughts that you are going to make happen. You can do it just start to think positive.
